Leatherwood/Hi-Lux Mount Set
I recently purchased this set as a replacement for a Unertl 3/4" scope I have that was missing the front ring. Years ago, I swapped out the front stationary ring to use on a tube sight then sold the item. Yes, I'm an idiot.
These rings are made in China. I can't believe that something like this can't be made in the US. Instead of being like the originals, these are cast steel instead of aluminum. They also use a relatively small contact point on the scope, no where near like the original Unertl's. While I've never seen any wear points on the tube with the original Unertl rings, I believe these will mark the scope over a period of time. Of course, this is my opinion, I'm not going to use them and going to ask for a return. The Unertl scope I have is worth too much to take a chance of damaging it, even though they are outmoded by today's standards.

If you are willing to tinker it can be made to work very well. The sliding mount needs fitting and stoning, the turet barrels need to be squeezed just a little (opposite direction of pinch slot/scerw) Knife edge needs stoning & dovetail's need fitting. All very easy to do and this will make it comp. ready.
Overall is better quality than I was expecting & the people at Leatherwood USA are VERY helpfull.
P.S. will not come W/block mounting screws as advertized
