A Good Reference
I gave up the shooting sports for a long time. Upon retiring I decided to start shooting and reloading again. I found this book to be a good reference and refresher on every aspect of reloading. It covers a wide range of cartridges, both old and new, and has data for a similarly wide range of bullets and powders.
The book is written by Richard Lee, so there is a heavy emphasis on Lee products. I use a mix of reloading tools and skip the parts that aren't relevant to me. Since I reload for rifles, pistols and shotguns, I find the info convenient to have in one volume.

Reloading While Reading Between the Lines
There is a lot of good content in this text. I definitely improved my reloading skills after reading it. However, if you have issues with an author shamelessly pushing his products and bashing most other manufacturers at every turn, this may not be the best manual for you. Richard Lee apparently wasn't listening when his mother told him, "If you haven't got something nice to say about someone, don't say anything."

Good Data.
The Lee Manual is full of good useful information, including a step by step guide to new reloaders. I just wish it had more load data for 50 Beowulf. It gives you data for loading pistol and rifle for numerous calibers including 50 Beowulf. I just wish there was a little more info for the 50.
Pros:
- Lots of good information.
Cons:
- Needs just a little bit more data for 50 Beowulf.
Best Used for:
- Reloading data.

Lee Reloading Manual
This manual is an excellent resource for the reloader. The general reloading theory chapters are good, but do favor Lee products. (as you would expect.) The load data section has a fairly comprehensive amount of information, and it is not biased towards a particular bullet manufacturer. It's up to date for many 2016 powders and bullets. IMHO, the cartridge selection is better than much of the competition. In particular, I was very happy to find 6x45mm load data!
Pros:
- Reasonably priced
- Comprehensive load data
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- Reference

Lee Modern Reloading Manual
The Lee Modern Reloading Manual is a comprehensive reloading guide which covers most calibers rifle and pistol. Lee's book and their line of reloading equipment is reasonably priced compared to other manufacturers. Lee also sells single round loaders for a really low price under $50 which can be used in conjunction with this book. Beginning re-loaders can try these single round loaders before they buy a expensive progressive loader.
Pros:
- Fair price
- comprehensive
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- Reloading

New to reloadin
Good book lots of information but none on 300 blackout still very helpful cause I plan to reload four different calipers an this book covers all the others. I would recommend buying a manual before reloading anything maybe not even this one but who does anything without reading the instructions first. If you buy Lee products I do suggest a Lee manual

Great reloading manual
Great and easy to read, very detailed info on all loads. It is missing some of the new powders like: cfe223 and CFEpistol. Other than that it can be crossed reference with other manuals and online if needed.
