Tiny but won't let you down.
It is the cheapest M lens, also the tiniest. However, the performance will not let you disappoint, while not surprise you either. I often shoot with it wide open at f2.5, unless over exposure warns me. When you retract it to f8, it is as easy as other point and shoot cameras. Overall it is a nice 50 mm standard lens to start with your new Leica M camera, especially for out door photographer.
One problem maybe only affect me: the lens is too short that I constantly partially block the lens with my fingers when focusing and shoot. Sometimes the original leather case from leica will also block the lens, since it is not very easy to remove when you have it on.
Pros: small, light weight, smooth focusing
Cons: cheap lens cover, image quality do not match with digital M cameras very well
