Very happy with the purchase. After squinting through one of my friend's monocular rangefinders, I knew that I wanted a binocular system with superb optics first. The range finding function to me was secondary. However, the range function performed flawlessly. Push button on to activate, push again to measure range, push again to turn off. Simple, intuitive, accurate. Yes, it is pricey, but will never have to upgrade, and you expect to pay increasing amount for the last increment in performance. Even for packing, I feel that having the best vision possible combined in one seamless rangefinder justifies this unit's size and weight.
