Simple - works great! - Leica Rangemaster CRF 2400-R

My Leica 2400R is simple to operate, very user friendly, and it does exactly what a rangefinder is supposed to do, only without all of the bells and whistles. Namely, give an accurate reading on elk at ranges beyond a thousand yards, and large inanimate objects at two thousand yds. With this rangefinder, I can know if an animal is on a section I can hunt on, without walking within range of the animal. It saves lots of time and lots of boot leather. As with all Leica products, optical clarity is superb. Wide field of view and 7X magnification are also a big plus. The only negative I can think of is the warranty. Two years is a little on the short side. Their warranty should at least be equal to some of their competitors.
