The product fits the spotting scope perfectly. At first I wasn't sure about the 2 piece cover design, but as I worked with it more and mounted it to my tripod the multiple piece design makes perfect sense, very ergonomical and easy to use. When investing the kind of money in a spotting scope of this nature, you also want the best product to protect your investment which this does. Leica makes superb products and this is no different.
