Leupold vx-3i 3.5-10 x56 ilumiated, if this would let me id give it 6 stars! - Leupold VX-3i 3.5-10x56mm Illuminated Rifle Scope

I was a bit skeptical that the lower magnification would be quite enough but.... first the best point the quality glass / clarity is magnificent, edge to edge no aberration, color distortion, not grainy even at full MAG. just absolute clarity as good or better than the Night force, Zeiss, Schmitt and bender?... I could not tell a difference at same magnification in day light good conditions and compared to all of my buddies really expendy scopes!!! Agreed by all of us that it was much better than the new Vortex PST Gen 2 glass same conditions. The great part even though the magnification is not tremendous the 56mm Objective Sucks in light you just have to see to believe! I was able to stay out longer by usually 1/2 hour to 45 min Legit Hunting Time! Collects light at dusk and in those atmospheric conditions / colors to allow you to see things in the lower tree line against darker backdrop than the naked eye will ever pick up! I use this mostly for HOG hunting which are darker color than deer and more difficult to pick out at these times but they are usually most active then. Little expensive but IMHO worth every penny! if your on the fence just buy it! you wont be disappointed! BTW I shoot a Ruger Precision Rifle in .308
