Extremely pleased both with purchase price and quality of the unit. I am a die hard Leupold customer due to their product quality and service. This unit is affordable and yet meets their high standards. Took the unit to the range this week and Optics were clear and bright. No problems with seeing .223 holes in targets at 100 meters. Comes with soft case and lens caps.

My very first spotting scope. Meets my needs of less then 2 pounds. Easily fits in my pack. Good field of view at highest magnification. Great scope with great warranty to back it. Perfect for me as a Western back pack hunter.

Great Product for the money. The resolution is very clear and the scope has an excellent field of view. I purchased this as a gift and plan on purchasing another one for myself. Shipping was prompt and customer service is always good. I have purchased many products from OpticsPlanet and will continue to use them in the future

This is my first spotting scope. The scope has a clear sharp view of the object being viewed, and the magnification seems to be as advertised. I wanted the angled scope so I would not have to have the tripod raised as high - making it more stable. I have found however, it is not easy to find the object. I would buy the straight view scope if purchasing again.

This spotting scope is amazing! clear optics, lots of power and rugged as heck!
I'm going to use this Scope for a Kodiak Black tail/ Caribou hunt this fall, 2016.
The power will save me a ton of wandering looking for game. We will spot and stalk like pro's.
Its small enough to be packable without too much bulk, weight or cumberson.
We will see the big browns before they will see us, safety first!

Pros:
- Compact, Glass Quality, Adjustments, Field Of View, Sight Picture, etc...

At 100 yards the view was OK and I could see 7mm holes if I hit clean paper but impossible to see when I hit black. Tripod was not very stable but hard case very nice. For the price it's just OK. If you can spend more, check other options.

After wasting money on a cheap ($100) spotting scope, I finally purchased this model. It does all I need, is bright, has reasonable eye relief, and when mounted on a quality tripod meets my needs. I have nothing to compare it to except a cheap Simmons. There is no comparison as you can imagine.

A good buy for the price. I am glad I went with the angled eye piece. I wish the eye relief was a little better though. The glass is clear and appears to do well in low light hours. The tripod quality is good, but I wish it was a little taller.

I drew an Az Coues deer tag this season and had to choose a scope. My options were limited, backpacking in 11-miles and need lightweight, compact, clear optics. Just built my rifle so need all this on a budget. After lots of reviews and research i chose the Ventana. I received it today took it outside at dusk and clearly spotted 2 hikers on a mountain at almost 3-miles away. Impressive light gathering and clarity. I could see great detail. It is rugged, weighs just over 2-pounds and comes with a decent soft case. It does have the Leupold name on it however it is manufactured by a subcontractor within the Leupold factory in Oregon.
Great scope for the money

Nice compact scope. Clear viewing.Comes with lens protector caps and a bag. Meets my expectations for a Leupold product. Purchased the scope only, not the combo package and also purchased their better scope.
Pros:
- Quality construction
- Light weight.
