Most Helpful Positive Review Great sight if you have a near-sighted astimatism
Great Leupold quality, as expected. The unit seems like one solid piece. The etched reticle is a plus as it does not require any batteries. The illumination levels give you enough variance for all lighting conditions. This scope is great for those who have an astigmatism as the reticle can be fine-tuned for your vision. It won't appear fuzzy as some red-dot sights can be. Excellent product. Pros: Size, build quality, etched reticle Cons: A little pricey

Leupold Prism Sight

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from TX, United States Written on April 15, 2012
I bought this scope to mount on my Thompson Encore for hunting in North Dakota. They do not allow scopes with magnification. This little scop is perfect for this. You can focus easily with both eyes open. Very good for someone with "older" eyes that can't focus well on open sights.
Pros: Leupold quality. Very easy to install and crystaly clear illuminated reticle.
Cons: Price is a little high for a zero maginfication scope.

Great product but pricey

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from KY, United States Written on March 12, 2012
This is a very neat sight for a short range rifle. I got it because it looked innovative and different and it is. ots of mounting options standard and can even use a 30mm ring. I have a major beef with sights that depend on batteries and this one works fine without. The ONLY area for improvement is the illumination switch. just takes some getting used to. Price is high but it is in line with other high end optics, and it is ready to go out of the box, no rings or mounts to buy.
be aware eye relief is like a regular rifle scope, this is not an unlimited relief optic like some other reflex sights.
Pros: Super compact, fast, lightweight, good adjustments
Cons: price

I don't like the on and off button being used for the brighteness too.
