They work great, just don't over tighten, they seal up nicely the threading is Leopold quality. On my Leopold Mark 4, I had to loosen the front one a full rotation. Best to line up the nice Gold emblems. My next order is going to be a Sunshade. I was thinking about an ARD (Anti-Reflection Device) but after I studied it more. For my heavy build, I'll go with the sunshade and attach the covers. They do work almost as well as an ARD without having dirt get on your lens and no shadow effect. If your building a light build sure, go for it. Each to his own on that, depending on what you like, rifle etc. I'm running a PRS stock with a monopod, Atlas bipod, 18" rail, 20" White Oaks Armament Barrel. An extra ounce or two won't bother my build/needs at all. You definitely get what you pay for with these. I'm very happy with them.
