Difficult to adjust and does not close properly

Had greatly difficulty fitting it and aligning the cap on the Leopold scope. Did not have this problem with one I purchased last year. Cap does not fully close to engage the magnets on both sides and I cant seem to engage the threads to adjust it. No instruction included.

Very nice quality and precise engineering. I was hesitant because of the price but they are worth the investment. Have exceeded my expectation. I used them hunting in the snow and wind and they kept the moisture off the glass. Durable.
