I bought this pair and the same thing in 10x30. The 10x30 pair are somewhat pointless to use with glasses on. They are both rated at having a 15.5mm eye relief, per the sides of the boxes they came in. The 8x are more eyeglasses wearer friendly, but not perfect by any means. I think a minimum of 16mm would be better for me, but these do work and I probably will keep them. The glass quality is good and they are clear and pretty bright. I'm not a binoculars-guy so, take my opinion with a grain of salt. However, I do a lot of shooting and do understand optics clarity. As someone who has migraines, I absolutely can't look through junk glass, be it a rifle scope or binos. This is why I've always used Leupold, Zeiss, and Docter scopes. They are affordable and are well made. I wish I could spend the money on Swarovski or Nightforce, but I can't, but fortunately there is Zeiss and Leupold. Even there lower end stuff, which I buy, is excellent. I'm sure they aren't as good as the big boys, but you'd never know it from my targets or my ability to ID a bird. The size is compact and packable, but not a pocket binocular. They are light and not bulky. Mine came with a soft case and a carry strap.
Pros:
- Are acceptable to use with glasses.
Cons:
- I wish the eye relief was just a bit more

These rated highly in the Audubon 2013 bino review. Still, I am surprised at the excellent images produced by these $99 8X30 glasses. Clear, bright images out to the edges of the field. The long eye relief allows my wife to use them with her glasses on. And by extending the eye cups to their full distance, I too can enjoy them without problems.
The only reason I gave these a 4—and not a 5—is the apparent weakness is the screw out type eye cups. These are somewhat flimsy and I do not expect them to hold up during years of use. But I'm told that Leopold has a very good warranty, so how can I lose?
Pros:
- Price v quality
- Light weight and compact
Best Used for:
- everything except astronomy

I bought these for my grandson. He needed just a good basic porro prism and this fit the bill. Good price and quality for a basic binocular. He's eleven and needed something durable and of good quality for his first hunting adventures. I'll probably be buying another one for my other grandson.

I would definitely get another pair. Well worth the money. Very compact & light weight. The clarity is excellent just like there scopes. Walked around all day on a 2500 acer ranch and didn't even bother me while they hung on my neck with the leupold soft strap they sent with it.

I love these little binoculars. I have an expensive pair of Nikon Monarchs that I never could get to work properly because the combination of IPD and eye relief just didn't allow me to see a clear single image. I couldn't afford expensive Leica or Swarovski binocular that had narrow IPDs and this name kept cropping up in google searches for binoculars with narrow IPD. I was skeptical of going from a $400 roof prism to a sub $100 porro prism but what good are the Monarchs to me if I can't use them properly? Anyway, they came in and I am so pleased with them. They are bright and crisp, I can get one round single image (and they'll go even narrower so my young children can, too! Bonus!),and they are small and lightweight which is also a big plus. If I could improve anything I would want the twist up eye cups to be stiffer and not "untwist" as easily but I had the same complaint with the Monarchs so it's not a big deal. I have read that Leupold has an excellent lifetime warranty and customer service so that's good peace of mind as well, because I can tell I'll be happy with these binoculars for a long, long time!

This is an excellent binoculars. Provides great clarity at significant distances along with ease of adjusting. And a good price. Also has a good feel in handling. I like the flip down front covers that protect the lenses. Only issue is that the rear lenses are covered by a removable rubber cover and I'd prefer it if this cover were attached.

Well made product at a fair price.Needed a compact bino for bowhunting and these fit the bill. Good performance in low light and sharp picture.Neck strap attatchment to bino's failed, but was easy enough to jury rig in the field.
