These binoculars are light and exceptionally clear. Easy to focus with just one hand. Will definitely recommend to anyone. Very nice exceptionally bright and clear optics. I have a friend who has some $1300 Zeiss binoculars and these give up nothing in comparison. I compared them to some Nikon Action Extreme 8x40's porro prism that a friend has and these are noticeably brighter and clearer, and cost half as much. They are light yet feel very well built. The packaging also says that these are fully multicoated glass and phase coated prisms. This is one deal with the rebate that can't be missed.
