Leupold BX-5 Santiam HD 12x50 binoculars

Very good optically, with good light-gathering ability for low light conditions. Lens caps are included, but are not as nice as those on my Nikon Monarchs. The nice neck strap included doesn’t really work with the included eyepiece cap.
Pros:
  • Great for low light situation
  • Excellent optical performance
Cons:
  • Supplied eyepiece cap and strap do not work well together
Best Used for:
  • wildlife viewing
