The optics are on par with my Zeiss Victory flouride bins. Not as perfect but so close that it's the best deal in bins I know of.
The let down is in the mechanics. The focus is no where near as buttery smooth or as precise and the objective lens covers are horrible.
The rubber part that connects the cover to the ring that slips over the lens barrel is WAY to thin and not wide enough. I'm anal with my bins and so far three have been lost do to the thin rubber cracking or tearing. A call to Leupold will get you new ones free but it's a hassle.
I'm trying to find photo caps that will fit but no luck so far. Also, I like ocular rain guards that are capative on both straps not just one like these. Other then these two grips these are fantastic bins. Get a pair, you will like them !

These mojave are quite amazing. Very clear optics in low light conditions. Just what I was looking for to spot deer at dawn and dusk. It is annoying the lens cap does not connect to binocs or strap,so they will get lost easy. Will probably end up upgrading those.

Optics went out of there way to place order even when site was down. Product shipped fine. Another great Leupold product. Made well with nice camo job. Strap is good quality. Clear view. Comes with case, eyepiece cap, and rubber attached end caps.
Pros:
- price, quality, performance.

I replaced a larger set of Pentax 10x42 binoculars with these because the Pentax were larger and heavier. While good, I wanted something lighter for the different types of hunting I do. The Leopold will get a workout during the upcoming turkey season. I like what I see so far.

The Leupold BX3 has superior, clear and crisp optics with good handling ergonomics. The BX3 is easy to carry for casual use and for serious hunting or birding. These binoculars provide quality at a right price - a Leupold trademark!

Great value, I used these this season for deer hunting (tree stand). Great clarity through the woods, very long focus range - in other words, I could focus on a single leaf at 10, 20 50, 70 yards, etc with ease. Eye cups would occasionally get knocked out of where I had adjusted them, but nothing to gripe too much about. Love the camo.
Pros: focusing, clarity of view, grip, looks, weight
Cons: Eye cup adjusting

These binoculars can not be beat in this price range! You might find a better pair in the $1000 range, but I don't believe their would be enough difference to justify the higher cost. You won't be regret your purchase of the BX-3
Pros: Great optics, quality built, comfortable to use
Cons: None
