Leupold LCO: Great Product but a High Price (4.5 Stars)
I was looking for a red dot optic for my LWRCI M6-SPR. It does not have a quad rail. It has a "sculpted" forward area. The optics I decided to choose between were the Leupold LCO ($1000), the EoTech XPS/EXPS ($500), the Trijicon MRO ($550), and the Aimpoint Micro T2 ($800).
Due to their smaller size, the Trijicon and the Aimpoint would definitely look better on my rifle. I was able to check out both of them. They were both well made. For me, I did not like the somewhat limited field of view or the tube effect (compared to the Leupold and EoTech). If I were to choose one, I would definitely go...

It’s a Leupold, so its amazing, what did you Expect?
100 Recommend! I had my 1st red dot which was great an Aimpoint ACO when I got my 1st AR. I’ve since got an additional AR and a lot more experience and hands down this is a fantastic Red Dot! Wish I would’ve added it sooner!

amazing quality
Love this so far. Leupold makes solid stuff and I would recommend this. They always seem to execute all their products when they drop new stuff. This is my second red dot from them and it’s great. I can’t wait to purchase a scope from them for my long rifle.
Best Used for:
- A 10 plus year of use

Leupold LCO
Just got it delivered. Haven't had a chance to mount and test but 1st impressions are great. Crisp red dot with nice features. I can't wait to get it on my rifle. Also opticsplanet rocked on shipping. Put order in on a sunday and it showed up 2 days early than ups showed as delivery date.

Got this about a year ago . Can't stress it enough if you are in the fence about which optic to buy I hope this helps. I've got eotechs vortex red dots and trijis . This stays on my main rifle . It's never let me down crystal clear long battery life. Never lost zero . Easy to set up and holds true to the test of time. Buy it. You'll love it.

Very happy
Great red dot, small, easy controls, clear glass. Overall satisfied with the purchase and would recommend as an alternative to other more popular red dot optics for rifles. Plus it's perfect for the devo.

Love the LCO
Purchased this to use for quick shots on coyotes and hogs.
Installed this and bore sighted it. It was almost perfect at 50 yards.
Put 100 rounds down range and it never moved. Another great Leupold product.
The 1 moa dot is great in the bright sunlight and against snow. Wished it would come with a cover.
Scopecoat makes one but OP doesn’t carry it.

Accurate shot placement with my old eyes
At age 75, my eyesight is deteriorating and although I have always shot with iron sites it has gotten to the point that I am unable to focus on the rear site, front site and the target at the same time. Enter the 'red dot' site.

Best Red Dot on the Market
Best red dot for what you get, the optic shipped fast. I’ve had no issues with this optic. The optic is very well constructed and feels of quality, it also has quality adjustments for the brightness and an easy push on/off switch that leaves the brightness on the same level.
Best Used for:
- Law Enforcement
- shooting

Leupold Carbine Optic
I mounted the Leupold Carbine Optic on my Daniel Defense DDM4V1. The lenses are exceptionally clear and the red dot is crisp. The half-minute dot seems to be more precise that a full minute dot at longer ranges. The sight is light and compact and the controls are simple to use. Time will tell how reliable and durable this sight is, but sense it comes from leupold I have confidence it will live up to it's billing. The only thing I would add is it would be nice to offer some type of protective cover for the sight when not in use.
Pros:
- Simple to mount and use, light and compact.
Cons:
- none so far
Best Used for:
- self defense, competition, general shooting
