Noobtuber's Review of Leupold LCO Carbine Optic Red Dot Matte 1 MOA Dot
I was looking for an optic with specific features for a long time: 5 year battery life, 1 Moa dot, durable, night vision compatible and true 1x. I was stuck between the LCO, Trijicon MRO and the Eotech. I have pretty bad astigmatism so 2moa dots have a pretty bad starburst effect to me. The eotech was the only one of the 3 that I really looked through in person. It worked the best with my type of astigmatism. However the battery life and weight are not as good as the other optics, plus the particular model I was looking at was not night vision compatible. I heard the mro was not true 1x. So I went with the LCO. It is very aesthetically pleasing especially with the gold tint on the front of the glass. Speaking of the glass, it is beautiful! Very clear, like looking through a window. The 1 moa dot is pretty crisp even with my astigmatism. Battery life is supposedly 5 years due to its auto on/off feature which works well. What ultimately sold me was the lifetime warranty. Which no other company had. I will probably also purchase the D-EVO unit to pair with the LCO in the future. I would highly recommend this optic. It was a little smaller than expected once opened but it’s not necessarily a bad thing. I guess I was just really used to the eotech. I wish it had a quick release mount and the price was better but other than that this thing is legit!

- battery life
- Glass clarity
