I have DD rings on two rifles and like the idea of two rings instead of the one piece type.
This makes aligning the rings easer for lapping, they can be moved to align with each other.
Be careful when turning to lock the rings and have a bar tightened in them as not to bend them. I have DD rings on two .300 magnums and have not had any problems. I feel they are very ridged and well made. Yes,
