Perfect product and handling, fast effieient order handling and great prices. I looked at several online sites and found Otics Planet to offer the best secections along with the most complete descrptions of the products. These helped me find the right product quickly and conveniently.
Reqires heavy lapping
These rings will require alot of lapping due to the MINIMAL contact of the top half of the ring.
After I got these aligned and began setting the scope in place, adjusting eye relief and level, something felt off.
I was getting a single contact mark on the scope right on top under the Leupold logo stamped into the top of the ring. So I used some chalk on the scope body to see exactly how much contact there was.
There were only two small points of contact on the top of each ring, front and rear directly under the logo.
So now in order to even use these rings without severely damaging my scope, I ordered a lapping kit. Hopefully I wont have ro remove to much material making the ring useless.

Steel Scope Rings
These rings, along with most optic components today, are very carefully and precisely made. Everything lines up well and there is little stress on the scope tube. I still like to do a bit of hand lapping on the lower rings just to make sure the fit is optimal, but that is just a personal preference from over a lot of years mounting scopes. I am pretty sure everything will work well without this extra step.

Great scope rings
The first thing and reason I bought these was because they had torx screws. That's good Quality and respect for your customers. The order came in in good condition. I would always check your rings for burrs and possibly have them lapped if necessary.

Dual dovetail rings and bases
I was using a 20moa picatiny rail, with weaver styl rings, but wasn't getting the performance that I needed. The leupold dual dovetail setup fixed my problems immediately and the look really clean, and no nonsense, and weighed less than my original setup.
Pros:
- These fixed my accuracy problems
Cons:
- They don't make a single base setup for the Howa1500, but the rem700 dual base setup will work on the Howa.

Leupold gloss scope rings
They matched up nice with my gloss scope. First shot was lined up perfectly horizontally. Real tough to spin on . Might want to think about leupold scope ring wrench. Plus it's made in America, which in my opinion is the most important thing.

I need of good scopr rings
The scope rings our like the ones I had used as a kid 50 years ago the old saying is still true if its not broke dont fix it my kids will laughing at me saying thats old way of doing things so I mounted the scope there were surprise how well it worked on my old 30 06 would the bottom line they work great.

Double dovetail rings
Great rings. Easy to install and make a solid ring that will hold up to the jarring associated with magnum calibers. Durable for field use and hunting. I have them on all my rifles and can easily move scopes from one rifle to another

Solid, reliable, accurate

Great Rings
These rings go perfectly with the Leupold DD bases for a sleek look on my x bolt rifle. They were quick and easy to mount and align. They were perfect for my 50mm scope with adequate barrel clearance, but a low profile. Very solid, quick and easy sight in with .30-06.
