Most Helpful Positive Review Excellent Scope, you need it
If you want pure simplicity and excellent optics and super brightness in a long range scope, you have found it. Optical quality rivals high end euro's for 6x the money with lesser warranties, I know, I own some. Fixed power is an often over looked option but should not be. Variables have their place but for most it adds complexity and honestly, I always crank em' up and leave them there anyway - buy a fixed. Optics Planet is also highly recommended - great customer support. Good hunting. Pros: Simple, excellent optics Cons: none

Leupold FX-3 12x40mm Target Riflescope

I bought this scope to mount on a XP-100 chambered for .20 Vartarg. I own several Leupold scopes, all have been very good and this one is no exception.
I love the target dot reticle. It is perfect for target work or for Longer ranges in good light conditions. The 1/4 MOA settings on this particular scope are dead on!
The parallax adjustment is very close to matching the scale on the front ring, on many scopes it can be quite a ways off. This scope is perfect for my application.
The high power setting and small target reticle would not be a good all around hunting choice. I am very happy with this scope.

  • Longer ranges in good light

Great scope for the price. Adj Obj is a nice to have but could do without it.
Pros: Crystal clear lens, very accurate
Cons: Finish will scratch easily
