Great scope for the money - Leupold FX-3 6x42mm Rifle Scope, 1" Tube, Second Focal Plane (SFP)

New to long distance shooting and this is my first long distance scope. Great clarity and illumination. I have shot it out to 220 yards, and can see the target well but not the thin rings. At 220 yards on a white back ground you can see the bullet holes. 100 yards is no problem. I choose the fixed focal length for durability and have not needed any adjustable magnification. Leupold support is awesome. They responded quickly via email to my numerous questions. I even dropped Hoppes bore cleaner on the lens, and cleaned it off with Bausch and Lomb lens cleaner, and no problem. Leupold support recommended alcohol and said the Bausch and Lomb was just as good. The negative is that Leupold does not make a 42mm objective lens cover for it. Very happy with the scope for the price.
