Clint's Review of Leupold FX-3 6x42mm Rifle Scope, 1" Tube, Second Focal Plane (SFP)

This scope is very basic, but has excellent optical clarity for a no nonsense, no bells & whisles, scope. I had one previously which I put on a 300 win magnum. This one is going on a 30-06. It is great for medium ranges and not bad for longer shots.
Pros:
  • Optical clarity, ruggedness and simplicity
Cons:
  • Lacks complexity some desire
Best Used for:
  • Basic hunting
