Good scope for the money.... - Leupold FX-II Ultralight 2.5x20mm Rifle Scope, 1in Tube, Second Focal Plane (SFP)

I have to start off by saying I have some disappointment that the optical quality is not up to the standard I expected from the Leupold name. There is a slight "fuzziness" at the edges of the field of view instead of the crispness that I was hoping for. I had read this same comment from another reviewer of this model and was hoping the problem was just an inferior lens in that one scope,......but...... It is not bad enough of an issue for replacement, however, it does exist. The scope is mounted on a CZ527 in 7.62X39 and being the very lightweight model it is perfect for this carbine. I have yet to sight in, and just hope that it holds zero without issue.
Even though at the bottom rung of the Leupold price ladder, I was expecting closer to perfection in the optical quality of the product, having crisper images in lower priced Burris and Nikon "zoom" scopes.
