This scope fit the bit for what I was seeking (light weight and low magnification) I have a other Leupold scopes, and the difference for a scope which costs 5x more is noticeable in glass clarity as expected. The packing and manufacturing and finish of this scope were flawless. Optics Planet includes important specs like weight, eye relief, field of view @ specific range etc.

It's a beautiful scope, but the reticle was off by about 2-3 degrees. I always check the reticle before I mount the scope. It doesn't really effect the performance, but the caps will not be horizontal and perpendicular to the rifle, and I am a perfectionist when it comes to my guns. I returned it for a Steiner 1x4, which costs about twice as much. I level my scopes with a bubble level kit I have, which I could not use with a reticle that's off. The scope would have been perfect for my super light 22 rifle, and I didn't want to deal with Leupold directly trying to get the reticle corrected, which I have read in other reviews about Leupold scopes. I have an old 3x Weaver scope on a Marlin lever action 22 rifle, and it's a great all around squirrel scope that I've used on hundreds of ground squirrels shooting 22 shorts, so 2.5x would also be great for squirrels. Too bad the reticle was off, which probably wouldn't be a problem for most people.

I have this optic mounted on my Ruger Ranch 7.62x39 zeroed for 25 yards so I can reach out to 200 with same zero. It's essentially a magnified red dot considering how lightweight this scope is. Love it!

Built a rem 700 ultra lightweight mountain rifle for my area (south central Alaska) in 260 rem. I was hesitant to go with power as low as 2.5 but it's been great. Extremely versatile for shots from 0-300. My only critique would be the field of view seems to be about 75% of the range you would expect from a short low power scope. Crisp glass, great in low light, and pretty...
Pros:
- Light, crisp, pretty, compact, durable
Best Used for:
- 0-300 yards (my limitations)

On my Marlin 336 rifle this scope is perfect for close to medium distance and brush hunting. I mounted the scope with a DNZ Rifle Scope Mount For Marlin 1894, 1895 & 336 Rifle. The combination provides 1 MOA accuracy at 100 yards...much superior to what can be obtained with the stock iron sights. Additionally, the 2.5 power provides a wide field of view to quickly pickup a moving target. The scope also provides additional eye to scope clearance...greatly appreciated with the recoil from the .444 265 grain flat tips.
Pros:
- Compact & light
- Wide angle veiw
- Close to medium distance accuracy
Best Used for:
- Brush hunting
- Close to medium range

This is a great little low power scope. Great eye relief. Smaller than most 1.5-4x20mm scopes. 2.5x is enough magnification to make out small targets at 100yd. Good field of view too. They are pricey, but work for my older eyes in lieu of a red dot.
Pros:
- Lightweight
- Excellent eye relief

great scope for AK's. just finished my MOLOT FM-11, Harris bipod, custom H.G's, stock, MI scope mount and Leupold FX-ll. fixed scopes are so underrated, if you're not sure about this scope just keep reading the reviews. as far as Leupold goes, the names says it ALL!
Pros:
- eye relief
- Water and fog proof

I put this scope on a Ruger American Predator 308 with an 18” barrel. This rifle is used to hunt deer and pigs from a blind where shots are typically inside 75 yards. This scope is perfect for my application. It is light weight, compact, and clear with plenty of magnification for my needs. It looks “right” on this little rifle.
