Most Helpful Positive Review Leupold Ultimate Slam 3-9-x40
I mounted this scope on the Bone Collector series TC Triumph. I used the Leupold 1-Pc Dual dovetail mount/base. With the Leupold high(.90") dovetail rings. This gave me about 1/4" or less clearance between the 40mm bell of scope to the barrel. This height put the scope right there comfortably when I anchored to aim. With the length of this scope and to fit me with the proper eye relief of the recommended 4.7". I had to take off the rear sight on the gun for scope clearance. Which, i didn't mind because the fill screws that went in the pre-drilled scope base holes fit perfectly in the tw...

excelent scope

by rw, Verified Owner from MA, United States Written on March 6, 2017
I put this on a Remington 1100 rifled barrel shotgun. It is very clear and great in low light conditions. I set the scope up according to the directions and the BDC reticle is dead on using Hornady slugs.

Excellent Quality

by The Bear, from FL, United States Written on January 29, 2015
I bought this scope for my wife's Knight muzzle loader and am very pleased with it. The scope is sharp and bright and the fire dot will allow extended twilight and dusk hunting. S.A.B.R. reticle allowed zeroing at 100 and 200 yards. I price shopped on the internet and with free shipping Optics Planet has become my go to source for scopes.

Like the fire dot

by BT, from VT, United States Written on November 27, 2014
I have used this scope all season this year for deer hunting. It was excellent at the range, though the fire dot was not needed I felt it help me get better groups at 100 yards with a CVA Accura Muzzleloader. I wanted the fire dot because the black reticles don't always provide good contrast on deer in particular light conditions. I do a lot of stalking and the batteries have held up in temperatures below 32. I am looking at another fire dot for a lever action rifle for my son. I like the fire dot and the price on this is reasonable.

Leupold quality

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from NC, United States Written on October 7, 2012
With any Leupold scope, you should expect to pay up, but it's worth it. I mounted this on a Mossberg 590A and it looks good. To mount this on a longer Picatinny rail, you'll need the high scope rings, which are also a little on the expensive side. This is my third Leupold scope, and they've all been worth the price paid.
Pros: Classic look and solid quality
Cons: A bit expensive

I'm a loyal Leupold customer and I mounted this on my 12-gauge Mossberg M590A1. It's lightweight and looks good on the shotgun. Optics Planet has become my go-to source for Leupold scopes.

Cons: A little pricey
