I recommend the scope highly. Do not waste your time getting the tripod kit. The tripod is of low quality which you likely will never use after one try. It cannot handle the size of the scope.

Great Scope
This is a great scope...it has a very bright and clear field of view. It is perfect for the outdoors or on the shooting range, and the price is the lowest I've found anywhere. Highly recomend this product.

Something you should see before you buy
This product was a great value. I could not resist when the price suddenly dropped. One thing you have to be aware of is the monstorus size. Do not bother with getting the Leupold kit since the tripod will be inadequate. I would also recommend taking a look at one of these at your local sporting goods store because reading the specs will not prepare you for the size.

You get what you pay for.
I bought this spotting scope because I wanted the biggest bang for the buck. Since the specs on this scope indicated it has a huge magnification range (20x-60x) and that it's objective is 80mm, I thought $399 was a good deal. Unfortunately, you get what you pay for. The scope does the job, but it is not as clear as expected. Even my Leupold Mark 4 rifle scope is clearer. The 60x power is essentially useless as the brightness and clarity goes way down.

Leupold Green Ring Sequioa 20x60x80
I am an intermediate hunter in the East Kootenay region of B.C. I have used this scope in all extreme weather and terrain conditions and it has performed excellently. I would recommend this scope to any beginner to advanced hunter. If you're only going to buy one scope but don't want spend a huge amount of money, this is what you're looking for.

I love it the sites are so clear it feels like you can just reach out and touch what you are looking at.

excellent scope
I also highly recommend this scope. Superior optics, very powerful. The tripod could be a tad stronger, but it is definitely useable.
