the leaupold gunmaker rifle bases are a good choice for the gun smith to build custom mounts. the steel is machinable and easy to blue and there is enough material too work with.

Use these bases if you want a custom fit or if bases aren't made for your model rifle. Top Quality Steel Bases. They will require machining and bluing.

Pros: All the Quality of Leupold Steel bases to custom fit your rifles
Cons: Requires gunsmith to install or the use of a milling machine, but that is understood up front. These aren't for a hobby gunsmith or tinker.
