Save your money!!! hd glass better, but not available with p4 reticle - New, Leupold Golden Ring Mark 4 12-40x60 mm Tactical Spotting Scope for Military Sniper Teams P4 Reticle

I purchased the scope because: 1) P4 reticle matches the Schmidt-Bender PM2 that I and my teammate are using; 2) small, lightweight; & 3) passed the U.S. Army's requirements for the SASS teams. I don't know who got paid off, but these scopes are unusable on bright sunny days even when zoomed down to 12x. All I saw was mirage when ranging anything past 100 yds. I ended up using my S&B 5-25x to spot with. Our military deserves much better than this! I'm going to spend the extra $$$ and buy the Hensoldt Spotter 60. Non-matching reticle, but much clearer optics. You only live once.
