Most Helpful Positive Review Leupold Rocks as usual
First I should say that 95% of the optics that I own or have owned are or have been Leupold. I have used friends and family’s US Optics, Steiner, Schmidt&Bender also. Having had Redfields, Simmons, Tasco, Weaver, Zeiss, Vortex, Leica, Burris, Nikon, Bushnell, etc etc over the last 55years I always seem to come back to Leupold. I have had many of their different models (Straight power, variable power, VariX ll & lll, Mk4 etc etc). No Mk6 or Mk8 to date. This scope is my first Mk5 and I must say it is an amazing scope. I shoot long range competition and I have owned in the last three years 21 different scopes, I will assure you this Mark five is the clearest I’ve owned to date, I would highly recommend this scope to any competitor or any long range hunter enthusiast

Great Scope

Clear Glass. Excellent magnification range for long distance. I mounted it on my Browning X-Bolt in 308 and can reach out an whack very small targets at very long distances.

This scope was a very worthwhile investment after a defective riser was replaced scope performed very well no problem hitting paper at 100 yards
was easy to set up and zero. Would definitely recommend this scope glass clarity is out of this world compares to my astronomy scopes both Televiews that i own 5+stars for this item

Long Range Rifle Scope

Just received Leopold Mark 5HD 5-25X56mm scope. It's first focal plane.Mounted on Custom rifle for Precision shooting.Leupold optics have been very over the years. But this new one is purposely designed for long shooting,weather it be steel targets or paper out to a thousand yards. We'll see in the coming months how well it performs against my Kalhes and Vortex scopes.

  • Cost was a major consideration. As well as the quality of glass.

Has always built some of the best scopes and the mark collection for long range hunting the quality just like the gold ring series and the warranty. With the addition of the MOA for the mark series makes this an ideal hunting scope. Leopold had always stood behind there product and the warranty is the most user friendly.

Awesome scope! Leupold quality and clarity is hard to beat, I have 3 older MARK 4's which are still in service. But Leupold has outdone themselves with this Mark 5. The clarity is crazy clear, even in low light conditions. Adjustments and tracking are spot on. The PR1 MOA reticle is simple and clean. No regrets on this purchase.

Amazing glass, light weight, tracks well. Fast shipping from optics planet. Used in competition, holds zero with abuse and returns to zero without a problem. Glass is clear and crisp and parallax adjustment is fast and easy. Dials have tactile and audible “click” and magnification adjustment is fast, smooth, and easy. Would definitely recommend to any mid-range to long-range shooter.

this scope has extreme clarity. very good in low light situations with the 35mm tube and 56mm reticle combo. tracking is right there consistently. the capped windage turret is a giant plus also. leupold absolutely nailed it all with this one for long range target or hunting
