Another great leupold - Leupold Mark 6 3-18x44mm First Focal Rifle Scope

Having been using the Leupold VX 3-18X44mm illuminated scope for over a year on my 5.56 LWRC M6A2 SPR, I have been become very familiar with the range and brightness of this scope. The New Mark 8 has the same magnification Range but without illumination. It's the only thing I miss. The Mark 8 has great visibility from the lens edge to the center, and Just like the VX it has the Ballistic compensation, but in this case for the .308 round. However, I paid a lot less for the VX. In fact it was under $!K, and it's a fantastic scope; especially with the Boone and Crocket reticle. The new Mark 8 has the CMR for the .308 cartridge. It goes out to 1100 yards or meters, far further than the VX. All in all I prefer the Mark 8 because of it's smaller length and weight. It looks great on my new HK, and I use the Wilson Combat mount. Once again Leupold has met the competition head to head; and it beats them all in brightness, clarity, weight, and especially price. Try buying this range in the Swarovski, and you will pay at least a grand more. Leupold is the Leader in just about every class of scope they make. And I am a fan for life; as this is my third Leupold; and I do my homework prior to purchasing a scope. I highly recommend this beauty!
