Most Helpful Positive Review Doesn't work with NightForce B E A S T
This is a very nice piece - very well made and finished - which is why I gave it a 5 star rating. However, Optics Planet recommended this mount for my NightForce B.E.A.S.T scope -- and it WILL NOT work with that scope. There is interference between the bottom of the scope and the rib between the rings. Lucky for me I own a milling machine... so I just milled the rib down enough to gain the clearance needed. My biggest point here - Optics Planet needs to learn their products.

Perfect Design with great quality

It seemed crazy for me to pay as much for a mount as I did for a scope. However when I went to mount my Redfield Revenge 3x7 scope on my StagArms 3G upper I need the scope to sit back further. After a lot of research I bit the bullet and bought this. I could not be happier. First the construction on this is top notch. You can just feel the difference when holding it. The system allows for quick detach and ability to use the same scope with several uppers with ease if you remember the rail spot you use with each scope. It also allows you to set the scope further back on your AR than your picatinny rail may allow with other types of mounts. Although I was skeptical of the price at first, I am a believer now and would highly recommend this. I should have known this would be a great product with all my past experience with Leopold.
Pros: Durable, Quick Detach, Allows scope to set further back than standard mount

This is an outstanding unit. Instructions are clear and securing the scope in the mount and mount to the rifle was straight forward.
Pros: great quality from a firmly established manufacturer
Cons: no versions are available with moa taper
