Mark 8 IMS Mounting System

I had previously used Barrett Mounting Rings but found it limited the Magnification Range due to the Dial position. Once I installed the Mounting system for my 1.1-8-24 Leupold CQBII scope, it not only has a full range of motion but was far easier to adjust for proper sighting and eye positioning. Great addition to a great scope.

While it is very expensive for mounting rings, if you purchased or are going to be purchasing the Leupold CQBSS Mark 8 Scope, you will want high quality rings to match and fit properly. This does exactly that and has a stylish design to go with it. The Leupold writing looks great with the Leupold scope as well.

Essential Accessary for Leupold Mark 8 Riflescopes

Mark 8 series is top-of-the-line riflescopes from Leupold and they are well worth the purchase price. Having paid for these high end scopes, it only make sense to get this integrated moutning system which making mounting and zeroing much more efficient. While it costs more than some of the lower end riflescopes (!), IMS is very well made and worthy of its brandname. Highly recommended.

Mark 8 IMS Scope mount

Great mount. Only down side is there is no quick release option. I have this mounted to a takedown rifle that I use a different scope for the other barrel. Quick release would make it easier, although a little heavier.
Pros: Quality build, light weight, durable
Cons: Wish it had a quick release option.

Not sure why it took so long to receive, but once I received it, I'm very pleased with the mount.
Pros: Great for long eye relief scopes
Cons: Long wait - 16+ Weeks
