First ever leupold scope that went bad right out of the box. - Leupold Mark AR MOD 1 3-9x40mm P5 Dial Rifle Scope

Bought and sold many many Leupold products over the years. This one was bad right from the get go. I do not mind waiting a month or so to get a repair on a scope that failed over time or I have broken, but when new right out of the box is not so good. I purchased the fire dot model combo with mounts at around $500. The electronics were a dud right out of the box and the green dot was almost not visible. Spoke with a service rep and he had me return it via UPS, at my own expense. Five weeks later I received the scope back and the electronics were replaced and worked fine. That is a long wait for a brand NEW SCOPE OUT OF THE BOX THAT WAS nfg. But when I installed the scope and Leupold mount on my flat top Ar15, I could not elevate the turret beyond 350 yards when sighted in at 100 yards. I work part time at a gun club and sometimes install and sight in 3 scopes a day. My other AR series Leupold scope will elevated to the full 650 yards. Another problem and the customer service rep walked me around some checks and said return it for service. This time they paid the UPS return. That was two weeks ago and the clock is still ticking. Will it take another 5 weeks to get my new scope repaired? How about 2 1/2 months total wait? I should have cancelled my payment initially.
