Good but not perfect
The CF-436 tripod is solid and good quality. I am using it with a Leupold 20-60x80 GR impact reticle spotting scope. It's downfall is the extension which must be installed or uninstalled each time you want to change from sitting to standing. In the field having to carry the extension as a separate piece is frustrating. Leupold could have done better I am sure.
Pros:
- Stability
Cons:
- The separate extension
Best Used for:
- Dedicated hight tripod
Would recommend: Yes

The product is as described. Perfect weight to function ratio...perfect for on the move glassing and shooting. If you are in need of a stable but lightweight tripod you will be doing yourself a favor to at least consider this one.
