I have used this type of mount on my rifles for over 20 years now. Sight in once and done. Makes cleaning after being in the field super easy and I have never had an issue with it not returning to zero. Optics planet has a great selection and good pricing for them.
Pros:
- Simplified cleaning and allows optics to be stored off of firearms
Cons:
- Be careful using the locking levers. Do not force them!
