Leupold qr and there customer service - Leupold QR Quick Release Bases

I have used Leupold my entire life .Thats 45 years of nothing but Leupold ever PERIOD!!! I was looking over a few of the posts here and I see a very few that are saying they will never use them again and what not and hey to each there own but let me tel;l ya a little something from a guy who owns and has owned about 25 to 35 of there scopes and endless other products from as far back as the 60's . I have never ever had them not stand behind a product and the idea that they are making a different size post is NOT true .They are putting a thicker coating on there products and since the tolerances are so tight (so you get the back to zero when you take the scope on and off) all you have to do is take a little piece of sand paper or an emery board from the wife ect ect and take a smidge of the coating off the post and WA-LA . FIXED !!Also I finally after 15 years of on and off stripped one of my bases and when I called them they said they were sending me a new cam and cam lever and roller pin to hold it all in and in fact they are sending me "4" of them just in case of future problems .Most of the time the problem is people CRANKING them down .You only have to snug them up . Even after years of that they might strip but rest assured you can fix it in 5 minutes with a small nail and a hammer or a punch set and your good to go . They also again as usual sent me the parts free and the extras at no charge .I have had glass replaced FROM DROPPING ,tubes replaced from dropping and even had them simply recharge a scope that was from the 60's never ever ever ever been charged and almost all instances it was my fault . So whenever some stranger comes to me in the woods or in the store and asked what I think he should get you know my answer ..... yep LEUPOLD BABY !!!!! and that's from hunting in 25 below zero and 107 above and all weather in between .Never an issue . Spending 10 grand to go hunting 6 thousand miles away is no time to find out your 600.00 Vortex is fogged up on you .I dont care what there warranty is I would rather NOT need to use the warrenty as the product is superior and if god forbid I do they will stand behind it 100%%
