Exactly what I expected
This scope meets all my expectation. It hold zero on my 700 BDL 30-06. I used Leupold scope mounts and rings, easy set up. Great value for the money.

Basic scope
It says Leupold but could be made by some other company. The lens are clear and seem to hold adjustment on my 17HMR cal. Rifle. The MOA adjustments do do have a "click" adjustment. The shooter must physically look at the adjustment ring to make any adjustments for windage or elevation .
best rifle scope for the price
Got the Leupold 4-12x40 scope to sit on a Ruger Gunsite rifle and they make a great pair! The combo is compact, fairly light weight, good looking and real high quality. The scope has terrific ease of use and a great warranty.

Great Inexpensive Scope
I cant say how much I enjoy this scope. Has super clear view. Bore sighted it,went to range and had it zeroed with 7 shots. Put this model on my Ruger M77 Mark ll. Great groups out to 300 yards which is as far as I plad on using this set up..Did I say how much I enjoy this scope at the price it sells for.

Okay so far
I had no issues with the clarity of the scope. I was disappointed that it came without lens covers. Also, there are no "clicks" when you adjust the scope. I have not zeroed the AR 10 rifle yet due to issues with the shems for the scope mounts.

great to see what ur hunting for
this scope has helped me see the game I'm hunting for and know if its a shooter, it is so clear and also light for my gun so its a win win deal, its tough enough for bear hunting, with dogs jerking and banging on lead straps shows if the scope was made for hunting, and this scope comes through with flying colors, I recommend it to all hunters who hunt the brush

Great Scope & great buy
I have been using Leupold Scopes for over 40 years and have been very happy with their products. This is my first Rifleman's scope and I found it very easy to mount and bore sight. I will take it to the range soon to put on paper for a zero at 100 yards.

- Hunting/Target

AMAZED!!!!
I will NEVER buy any scope other than a Leupold! I put this scope on my Ruger M77 MII. I grabbed a box of federal shells hoping 10 would be enough. Well to my surprise it only took 6 shells to zero it in from about 50 yards. I was AMAZED!!! Well worth the price!!! The elevation was DEAD on and I basically guessed when I moved it to the left just one time WOW!!!I had no idea what to expect. The old saying "you get what you pay for" describes Leupold scopes to a tee.

Can't quite give it 5 stars.. But it is a very nice scope for the $$$
The leupold Rifleman riflescopes are as basic as it gets for leupold. They are great scopes for the money. The only reason I can't give this product 5 stars is because I actually haven't had one on any of my rifles, or used one extensively. I helped my cousin sight his Model 70 in last spring, and he had this exact scope on it. It had a very nice sight picture, and seemed to maintain zero VERY well after a lot of shooting. I wish they would upgrade this model and give it some finger adjustable windage and elevation adjustments, and make the clicks more tactile and audible, but I feel like this scope would really serve the budget minded average everyday meat hunter very well. IMHO, if I actually owned one of these scopes, It would probably get a 5 star rating. I really liked the one I shot with. I may buy one to go on my Stevens/Savage .223 for coyotes.
Pros:
- Value for money, Very clear glass.
Cons:
- No Finger adjustments like Nikon has on all of their Riflescopes from Prostaff to Monarch. Can't hear or feel the clicks.
Best Used for:
- hunting

Leupold Rifleman
So far I ve only used it once at the range. Excellent clear vision and easy to use. After boresighting it was very easy to get dialed in. So far my rifle has shot the tightest groups ever ! very nice!
