Most Helpful Positive Review Awesome Product - Awesome Price!
I purchased the Leupold Rouge Binoculars, in the Mossy Oak Camo, as a gift for my husband for Valentines Day! He loved them. And I checked several retailers both locally and online, but Optics Planet was by far to lowest price, still knowing I was getting a genuine product and not some look-a-1like....

Most Helpful Negative Review Disappointed
I bought these thinking I was buying an American (granted, bottom tier for the company) product--and find out it's just another piece of chinese *. It doesn't appear to have any features another piece of chinese * would have, other than a warranty. The case (!?) if you can call it that, is a foam t...

Great Product; Good Price

by Takeo Ishimasa, from NJ, United States Written on September 13, 2016
Impressed with the product. Great improvement over my other binoculars. Also purchased Leupold products because of reputation, past experience, and advertisements showing scenes of the NW USA. Major disappointment was discovering that the product was NOT Made in USA but China. Have to check my scopes now. Will read the fine print next time.

  • Nothing significant.

Not A True Leupold.

by JJ, from MO, United States Written on October 25, 2015
After I unwrapped the binoculars I looked at the serial number and stamped right beside it was, "Chinese".
I thought Leupold's main selling point is: Made In The USA.
My thoughts were the binoculars were on sale because of the low price. Bad thinking on my part!
I couldn't send the binoculars back, because, I had made a scratch on it while attempting to put on the neck lanyard.

Simple and high quality is better.

by Patriot, Verified Owner from CT, United States Written on August 21, 2015
I used to think that I needed variable power binoculars until I got these. The 10x gives you the right magnification/field of view combination, zoom capability is nothing more than an unnecessary distraction - that's what your spotting or rifle scope are for. Instead of unneeded bells and whistles you get quality that is easy to use and gives you great performance. I wouldn't not have tried these if it hadn't been for Planet Optics excellent customer service which allowed me to try these without risk. The only improvement I would like to see is some way to (lanyard or something) to not lose the lens caps.
Pros:
  • easy to use
  • well made
  • good picture
Cons:
  • None

Bad product.

by Tracy, from ID, United States Written on July 7, 2015
I sent this product back once before because the focus is to hard to turn. I received a second pair and they do the same thing. I like the leupold but wouldn't recommend these ones. I'm not to impressed with the bionoculars.

Leopold Rogue

by PESKADARU, from CA, United States Written on June 13, 2014
Best optic I ever bought. Field tested out of box and applied in early morning and late evening post scouting. Out standing. 100% satisfied on the optics and performance.I would recommend it.My buddy's loved it so I told mine is not for sharing during hunt. They can still get there's before the hunt. Greatest field of vision for its type.
Pros: Very clear vision easy to adjust
Cons: Lens cap should for quick access to keep length dust free whenever it's not in use.

Leupold Rogue 10 x 50

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from KS, United States Written on September 7, 2013
The Rogue is my third set of Leupold binoculars. All have been extremely durable and transmit light very well in low light conditions. Eye relief with glasses could be a bit better ( the circle of view is a bit soft around the edges). My teenagers who do not wear glasses tell me that the view is perfectly sharp.
Pros: Leupold clarity and light transmission
Cons: eye relief with glasses
