50mm Scope mount on Mini 14
Bought these super high scope mounts for Ruger Mini 14.....they where not high enough to mount a 50 or 40mm scope...quality looks good....just did not do what I needed.
Problem with these reviews is if your concise and to the point you still have to write more info....more is not always useful
Scope mount rings
I was upset at first due to the original rings being out of stock, but the other ones they had in stock and that the company recommended worked out after all.

Solid Choice for the M77
Maybe not the fanciest or most tactical, but they are a dead nuts reliable option for the Ruger M77.

No quality control
Holes were not tapped I had to tap them myself. Leupold name not what it used to be.

Leupold rings for Ruger mount - Attention to detail - threading defect.
I'm not sire if this is unique to the rings in my package, or a braoder production problem, but the threading on the ring mounting bolts provided did not match the threads cut in the ring. I had to run a 8-32 tap into the rings to use the screws provided. They turned-in just enough to stay in for shipping, but locked-up when I tried to tighten them. I thought I had cross threaded them at first, but that was not the case - there were definitely mismatched or defective internal threads on both rings.
The scope clamp screws were a different size and worked perfectly.
Other than that minor flaw, these rings and the scope I mounted were a great addition to my 30-06.

Good fit on rifle
Fit perfect on Ruger no1 with 50 mm leupold tube. Great clearance from barrel to scope. Shipping was fast I did order wrong part at first and optics planet took it back as I ordered the new one. Will do business with them in the future.

Leupold Super high scope rings
Specifically the Leupold super high 30mm rings model 51043 fit perfect for my Ruger M77 with a 3-18X56 Meopta V6 scope. 1/4 inch space between barrel and 56mm objective. Sturdy & good quality. Highly recommend.

Leupold Ruger rifle scope mount rings.
I got these rings for a Ruger M77 Mark II rebuild. I was putting a 30 mm Leupold scope on my rifle (rather than a 1 inch scope). The fit was perfect and the installation was a breeze. I didn’t realize the scope ring mounts were two different sizes, but the instructions covered that nicely. The smaller one goes in front. (I had the rifle for probably 20 years and never noticed that). Then ring mounts are strong and very good looking, I would but them again.

10/22 Ruger Rings
The Leupold rings are well made and solid as a rock. The rings are the perfect height for the Ruger 10/22 and provide an excellent mounting option. This is my second set of rings for my Rugers and at this time I wouldn't use any other system. I highly recommend.

Rifle Shooter
The Leupold Rings for Ruger M77 type rifles are an improvement over the Ruger factory rings. I have 4 sets of these Leupold rings; I am awaiting a 5th and plan to mount another 4 scopes for family and friends within the next 2 weeks for fall hunting using the superior Leupold ring mounts. I like the precision and requirement to use 2 T15 screws vs. 4 T10 screws for each ring, minimum ring lapping is required for a close to exact alignment on the Ruger M77 receiver. I am confident that my new Leupold Ruger type rings will satisfy my requirements and have been waiting for almost 3 weeks for them to arrive. Hunting season is fast approaching and a good deal is required. Leupold rings are popular and available and stocked by many local gun/shooting stores. Comparable pricing to Ruger rings.
