Best all-around rangefinder - Leupold RX-1200i TBR Compact Digital Laser Rangefinder With DNA

I really like this rangefinder! I especially like the built-in compensation for elevation/depression angle, as I like to keep everything as simple as possible. It does have the wide laser beam as do all rangefinders in this price range, but the next-level rangefinder (Terrapin) with a narrower beam doesn't have the e/d angle compensation which I like. You just can't use it in a forest of trees. Light weight and compactness are also definite advantages. Image is very clear and it is easy to use--just push the button to "range"--you don't have to hold it down. Auto "off" after a few seconds is good for battery.
