Best all-around rangefinder

I really like this rangefinder! I especially like the built-in compensation for elevation/depression angle, as I like to keep everything as simple as possible. It does have the wide laser beam as do all rangefinders in this price range, but the next-level rangefinder (Terrapin) with a narrower beam doesn't have the e/d angle compensation which I like. You just can't use it in a forest of trees. Light weight and compactness are also definite advantages. Image is very clear and it is easy to use--just push the button to "range"--you don't have to hold it down. Auto "off" after a few seconds is good for battery.

Does the job just fine. Easy to carry in the pen loop of my pocket. Works for sun glasses too. Typical Leupold high quality product. Its one of those things that if you don't have one, the time will definitely come when you wish you did.
