Avoid leupold rangefinders - Leupold RX-1600i TBR/W with DNA Laser Rangefinder

I was close to purchasing this rangefinder (at a discount from Leupold) after my previous rx1000i stopped working... couldn't read digital writing when using it anymore even with new batteries. I paused long enough to view other brands. Other brands, such as Vortex, offers LIFETIME WARRANTY on their rangefinders for ANY malfunction or defect. Leopold's coverage is 2 years only. Don't be caught buying a new rangefinder every 5-10years like I did. Buy quality. Buy once. Hunt happily forever. (Vortex is first company I looked into, don't feel I need to look further)
