Understand your optics.

Before you order mounts for your gun. Do some research on your gun first. And also understand your optics. My gun is a sako forester l597. With a Dove tale rail. Witch requires certain scope rings. Witch i figured out. But my scope is a 3x9x50mm. Witch is a bigger radius at the end. And I ordered the wrong size mounts first. I ordered 1in radius x medium hight. Witch would not fit my gun with that scope. I needed 1 inch radius x 1in high for that scope. Gun. And dove tale. So before you order and waste the money. Dont do what I did lol.

  • The mounts worked. Bored sighted. And got me on paper at 100 yards.

Excellent Rings

Much preferred over the Optlocks. Was skeptical over the dovetails initially, but the rings are solid and hold zero. I have mediums on my 85 with a Conquest 3x9x40. Height is perfect, aligns well with cheek piece on stock.

Leupold Sako Ringmounts

These fit well on the Sako dovetail and looked great.I returned the rings as I need some how need 20 MOA mounts as My rifle tends to shoot low. One complaint was that one base screw was cross threaded at the factory.

Easy installation solid fit no need for bases or more expensive alternatives mounted a Barska 3 to 12 x 50 using High mounts perfect fit just enough clearance can't wait for warmer weather to get to the range highly recommend

Leupold ring mounts

The quality was fine but I was expecting the two mounts to fit the rails on my 22. One fit fine but the second was for a larger rail. I don’t know if this is a combination used in some guns but not mine.

Not for a Sako 85

Bought these ring sets for a Sako dove tail 85. They were not very secure and the mediums were still too low for a 42mm objective lens scope. Not impressed. Sure wish they would have worked! Had to go to costly Sako Optilock for a secure scope mount.Return policy was excellent though!

49943 NOT PICATINNY MOUNT BY A LONG SHOT

i ordered these with a 11mm dove to picatinny mount adapter and no way will they fit on a picatinny they are way too small just to make sure i am talking about the 49943 going to have to exchange AGAIN for a picatinny mount leopold's are not marking the packages right some say 11mm dovetail then later in the description it says mount type picatinny well make up your mind which is it ?

same quality as sako mounts

Very nice finish and top quality for less than sako's mounts. I installed these rings on A L-57 with no problems at all. Opticsplanet had the best price even before the free shipping. And as always received in 3 days.

Leupold 30 mm scope mount for Sako rifle

High quality and well made. Fit the Sako rifle perfectly. Had to be careful tightening the rings in small increments to keep scope perfectly leveled. The rings did not require lapping, a big time saver.

This product is useable

Hi bought these as an option to the Optilock. I have my doubts, but I’m known to be overly skeptical. They mounted up easy enough. The one piece design seems sturdy enough. I am guessing they set up self wedges under recoil? Time will tell. I lap all my rings; prior to lapping they seemed very concentric.

  • No recoil lug
