One of my favorite optics - Leupold UltimateSlam 2-7x33mm Rifle Scope

This is one of my favorite optics for medium bore short action centerfire rifles. It's just about perfectly suited for medium/big game hunting to 500 yards.

I have these scopes mounted on a 0.243, 0.308 and a 22 WMR. 2 power is great in the woods and 7 power is more than adequate for sighting in and more open country. Image quality and brightness is great for the price of the scope. One has sat atop a Win model 70 fwt for about 3 years with no change in zero despite hundreds of rounds fired, weeks in the field and the rigors of airline baggage handling.

DO verify the holdover points for your particular load. For example, with the scope zeroed at 200 yards and using a 0.308" 150 gr Nosler boat-tailed Ballistic Tip chronographed at 2825 fps, I found that the 300 yard holdover was dead on. The 400 yard holdover matched up perfectly at 350 yards and the 500 yard holdover was dead on at 400 yards. These holdovers are just about perfect for my application with this particular rifle.
