What more can I say, it's a Leupold. Scope mounted on my Ruger Scout with ease, I bore sighted and shot a 3 round group at 100yds. It was high and to the right. I corrected and shot another 3 round group with all within 1/2 inch of the bulls eye. I duplicated the feat with another five round group and I am ready for my next hog hunt. The accuracy, and easy of use have convinced me that Leupold is the only scope to have on your rifles.

I was looking to scope a .243 in order to loan it to a friend just about 10 days before the opener of deer season. The rifle is s light, handy bolt action M70, and I did not want to weigh it down with a big heavy scope. I settled on the 2-7X power range with the smaller 33mm objective for that reason. I chose Leupold because of the excellent experiences I've had with their products previously and the fact that they are 100% USA made and proud of it. I'm told they have great customer service as well. I don't know as I've never had to use it. I mounted the scope in Talley lightweight 2-piece low rings. When sighting it in I noticed the clarity right off. This scope is bright and clear. I took it out at dusk in order to see how well the light transmission was and was happy to see that I could detect great detail long after shooting light. I got the S.A.B.R. reticle which is designed for muzzleloaders and shotguns shooting slugs. There are additional crosshairs for this purpose. I have not spent enough time to see where these holdovers will match up with my much faster .243 rounds, but they may prove to be useful at longer ranges, I'll have to see. The adjustments are positive and move the point of impact as they are supposed to at the appropriate range. The power selector isn't too tight and will be easy to adjust with gloves on. This is the third scope that I have purchased from OP.

I bought the scope to replace a cabelas pine ridge that wouldn't hold zero on my cva optima v1. After mounting the ultimateslam, it was night and day difference. Field of view, clarity, and sight picture is much better by a wide margin. I looked thru the nikon after buying this one, and to me it wasn't even close. Leupold has my business from now 100%!

truly impress with this product, I've used simmons and bushnell and they are a joke in comparison. save your self time and money buy the right scope first. I picked this one up as a factory demo and was slightly hesitant as what does factory demo entail? well I still don't know but I received it in slightly less than new condition I would say 95%. I can deal with that, but appearance doesn't take anything away from its function. the clarity is excellent and the s.a.br reticle is amazing. I would have never taken a 200yd shot with any slug gun but now I wouldn't even hesitate. I have yet to test it at 300 yds but I have confidence that it will get you into the vitals. over all I love this scope.

Leupold scopes are high quality and affordable. This scope lives up to Leupold's standards. You will not regret spending a little more for this scope. The shipping had it at my door step in 3 days. I would buy this scope again.

Scope is great and has practical ranging. Settings are based on a magnification level (ie 4X for 20ga/two pellet load). This is perfect as shot feasibility/range coincide perfectly.

Great scope for Savage 220. However, base and rings different from what you would think fit. 220 Shotgun different from 110 Rifle
