I own 3 leupold scopes and the VX-2 3-9x40mm is by far my favorite. The ability to use the crosshairs as a range finder has saved my hunt more than once. No regrets with any of my leupold scopes and they just get better year after year! With this scope mounted on my Browning x-bolt in .325 wsm, I was worried about the shock generated by the kick of the rifle.This thing kicks like a mule and yet it had absolutely had no effect. The scope held to its settings.There's no doubt in my mind that you will be happy with your purchase no matter which model leupold scope you choose.

I own four Leupold scopes and a one Zeiss for my 30 calibers and my 325 wsm's. I figured I'd try a Zeiss just for the heck of it. No noticeable difference. I'd rather buy American and Leupold has a great reputation and lifetime warranty. One of my turret dials was stuck. They fixed it without any questions asked.They are all vx models.I have no complaints. When I do a custom rifle build i will get a BDC reticle and more than likely get a Leupold. From my terrace in Florida I can see ranges very clearly out to 3 miles(and more) away through all my vx model scopes. Although 40 and 44 mm(to the 9 or 10th power) scopes are probably only practical to about 600 to 700 yards- I could easily make out targets beyond that range with these scopes were I capable of accurately estimating holdover and windage.These scopes are extremely practical and unless you are shooting in wide open country out west I do not think people need to look any further than buying these type of Leupolds. They even have scopes for that level of shooting if need be. Buy American-Buy Leupold-YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!! The quality lenses and components of their scopes,with the lifetime warranty for the price can not be matched. Also their team and experience have a great attitude towards their customer and product. You can't beat that kind of pride for a product. LEUPOLD ALL THE WAY FOR ANY TYPE OF SHOOTING!!!

I bought this scope because of the specs.This is the lightest scope that I have ever used. The the view during low light conditions is simply great.also the lifetime guarantee is the best.sighting this scope in was super easy.

I have several Leupold scopes that I use and could not be happier. Quality is outstanding. They are great in low light conditions and very rugged. I find them a perfect scope for New England north woods hunting. I’m sold on Leupold especially the VX-2 3x9’s.

I have been a fan of Leupold optics for years. I have the Vari-X II in glossy finish on my first rifle, Remington 700 ADL .30-06. I sold that rifle years ago and regretted it.

Later I bought a Browning X-Bolt .30-06 FLD and bought this updated VX-II. The older one I had needed a coin or screwdriver to adjust W/E. This newer model has turrets you can adjust with your fingers. A huge improvement over the older model.

About 5 years ago I called the man I sold that ADL to. His son didn't take up hunting like he wanted so it sat in the safe for a long time. He sold it back to me for exactly what I he bought it for. I got my rifle back.

The Gold Ring warranty is bullet proof. I removed the scope and sent it back to Leupold for repair. The scope was 80% rebuilt. The only thing they could not do was add the finger adjustable turret. Oh well.

All scope manufactures offer a lifetime warranty on their scopes. They had to in order to compete with Leupold. Not all warranties are the same. Leupold offers the lifetime warranty no matter how old the scope or who currently owns it.

Springfield Armory offers a lifetime warranty only if the current owner is the ORIGINAL owner. If you sell your SA firearm the lifetime warranty is void. Hmm.

Great scope delivered quickly well packed and best price I found. VX2 is the best price and quality combo out there in my view and optics planet has been a great source consistently. It would be hard to do better!

Excellent as any Leupold. VX2 is my preferred scope because it’s the best value/performance combination. Noticeably brighter and crisper than the VX1 in low light conditions, noticeably cheaper than the next tier of scopes that cost as much as the rifle you put them on. Optics Planet has always been my go-to source. Good selection, hard to beat prices, free and fast shipping well packaged.

Found a Leupold vx2 3x9 x40 cds for my new Ruger 450 bushmaster at a great price. Many recommended this scope for my rifle and caliber. Optics's Planet had fast and great service with this order and it was nicely packaged to prevent damage during shipping. VX 1 & 2 scopes are in short supply so act now.

Fast shipping. Product was as described. Would buy again, highly recommend. I bought this on close out, so it was a great price, but it is not being made anymore so that might be a downside for you. You really can’t go wrong with a leupold though.
