Great scope. - Leupold VX-2 4-12x40mm Adjustable Objective Rifle Scope

This is my 3rd Leupold purchase, and I am happy with my matte black fine reticle VX-2 4-12-40 scope. Looking through the scope, it is crisp and clear. I find the fine reticle to be very handy on the .22LR (10/22) rifle. I would use this scope on a centerfire rifle without hesitation, although a duplex or heavy duplex might be more appropriate in some hunting situations. The VX-2 can also use Leupold's Custom Dial System (CDS), in which the elevation cap can be replaced with another that matches the ballistics of the round favored by the shooter. My other Leupold scopes came with a neoprene Leupold scope cover, which I thought was a nice touch and are useful in protecting the scope. This one, however, only came with a tacky bikini cover. Leupold's VX-2 scopes are a nice budget scope an will not disappoint most. Many people are put off by the higher price of a Leupold scope. But, if you factor in the quality, accompanied with the lifetime warranty, it is really worth it.
Pros: Made in the USA, Lupold quality and warranty. Clear scope.
Cons: Came with a junky bikini cover.
