Not what's advertised
The scope is a nice scope. I would recommend a better model. If you are going
to get serious about Target shooting.
Cons: This scope is not the scope pictured. It does not have have side turret and the Elevation turret looks completely different.
Good Glass, US made, good warranty
I've been buying Leupold scopes (rifle and pistol) for decades. I have never strayed far from buying them, except for a couple of purchases of crummy Chinese made scopes (never again). I know some people think they are pricey but you get what you pay for. They never lose their zero in my opinion. I shoot 308 Winchester, among others. They are simple to sight-in and use without any problems ever noticed by me. And the warranty is great, should ever need it.

Great Value
I am currently using this optic on a Ruger Precision. 308. It has excellent light transfer and adjustments, the adjustable objective is a plus also. The included sun shade was an unexpected surprise.

Nice scope!
Received within two weeks, came in good condition, Great looking scope. Great optic. Haven't got it mounted on rifle yet, still waiting on Bore sight from order to be shipped. Will let you know when I get to wring the rifle out.

Leupold scope
Very clear, durable and dependable scope. Great for hunts out west and long distance shooting. Leupold is definitely the way to go. Doesn’t even come close to the other competitors. Have them on all my guns.

Excellent Value
I purchased this scope during a Leupold discount day and got it for approximately $415. As with all Leupold products, this thing is of exceptional quality. Clear glass, plus a BDC retical. This VX-2 will also come with a set of custom dials from Leupold for FREE! You're really getting all the features of a scope 3x's the price with this one.

no cds the picture is miss leading
I bought this scope and when i got it ,it was the wrong one you cannot change the dials on it for the cds system and they told me that this scope isn't even made with that system. Which is why i bought it in the first place so the pictures are completely wrong and very miss leading I hope this saves somebody a lot of time and headache.

Leupold Scope
This is my first Leopold scope. I had never spent more than a couple hundred dollars on any one scope before. Its is clear, bright, and has a fine duplex reticle. I have mounted it on a Leopold scope mount for an AR and it fits fine. My only complaint thus far is the eye relief changes a good bit between 18X and 6X, which may be a problem with all scope, I just hadn't noticed it before. I have to move my cheek back a couple of inches while using 6X.

Great scope and great value.
This was the first Leapold product I have purchased in a long time and it was worth it. Great scope for a resonable price. It focuses well out to 300 yards and has held dead on at 100 since I mounted it.

Very nice scope
Very nice scope. It does seem more compact than a similar power vortex, but works great. The scope was easy to sight in and offers excellent clarity at all powers and ranges. I have it mounted on a 6.5 CM right now.

VX-2 6-18 x 40AO CDS Windplex
I own two of these scopes mounted on 308 and 300 Win mag rifles. Excellent sight picture, clear image and sharp focus. Windplex reticle is also very sharp and clear for my 60 year old eyes.
Love the fine cross hairs on the Windplex. Can easily see a 1/2" diameter circle target at 100 yards on 18X.
Both rifles are shooting well and hold zero. In fact, I solved a rifle accuracy issue when I installed the 6-18 to diagnose an old Weaver scope that was suspected to not hold zero. Sure enough, the rifle suddenly came to life with the 6-18. The accuracy difference was night and day.
Getting my free CDS dial now that I collected load data. Can't wait to try some long range shooting.
