All good so far. Better than the other one I had to send back. Leupold quality is going downhill for years. Too bad really. Nikon would be a better option. C-----------------------------------------------

Awesome scope!!

I used this on my Marlin 336C and it looks and works great on it!! Very clear and perfect for the 30-30. I wanted something that did not stick up too much and still complimented the lines of the rifle and this was it!

Good Little Scope

I mounted this scope on a Marlin 336 30/30 and it is the perfect size and magnification range for the rifle. i have not hunted with it yet, but at the 100 yard range on an overcast afternoon the optics were bright and sharp. While I'm not sure I was getting the stated 1/4 MOA per click adjustment in windage and elevation, I had no trouble sighting in the scope and shooting groups as small as the rifle and shooter are capable of.

Great scope!

I bought this for my old Marlin 336C. I really like the way it looks on the rifle and it is the perfect magnification for the old 30-30. Heck most of the deer killed in the last century was done with less magnification on rifles with much more range than mine. This is a very clear scope as these new VX3's are so much clearer compared to the old roman numeral ones(VX-III)! It has great eye relief and it is nice that it is made in the USA still!

Great Scope!

This scope is very clear and is great for shorter range targets. Excellent Leupold quality. Fast Shipping! I like how the scope stays clear at shorter ranges and offers a nice field of view. If I could make one improvement it would be the adjustment knob, it is a little stiff. Other than the stiff knob it is a great scope.

Leupold, how can you go wrong.

I mounted this scope on a vintage Sako Vixen in .223. This is a very light weight compact rifle. I wanted to keep it light and sleek. The scope is the perfect size and weight for this set up. As usual the optic is clear, bright and offers tons of eye relief. It is a shorter range varmint set up for the mixed country I typically hunt. Performance thus far has been amazing. Leupold is also including a scope coat which is a nice bonus.

Quick reaction scope.

I purchased this for a Ruger #3 in 30/40 Krag as a stalking and tree stand gun. Excellent field of view and very quick to acquire the target. I would consider its big brother the VX-8 for a safari gun.

Excellent Lightweight Carbine Scope

One of the best compact scopes on the market. Clarity and eye relief are excellent in the VX-3 line. At 9.3 ounces, a great choice for a carbine. A far better fit than some of those 30 mm scopes which weigh almost twice as much. Have one mounted on a Ruger 77/44 .44 magnum carbine and on an AR-15 carbine, and could not be happier with the scope and the handling of the rifle. Have never had a problem with a Leupold scope in more than 25 years of using them. Plus Leupold is made in America, giving jobs to Americans.

Leupold VX-3

A great value, Leupold Optics continue to be outstanding. Performance of the VX-3 far out performs it's price. Not to mention it is made in the USA. The 1.5 power range is perfect for large caliber hunting rifles, whether it be hunting elk in the dark timber, wild boar in thickets, or cape buffalo in the long grass this is the scope for you. Durability on hard kicking stopping rifles is exceptional.
