Updating from an set 3.9x40. I couldn't be more pleased with this scope. More light later, low mount, everything from Leupolds product description on there website is spot on. I ordered matte black finish with Duplex Reticle. Helpful for hunting low light conditions. I'll rarely shoot more than 150 yards so all the other reticle options really didn't make sense for me. Optics planet had a coupon and Leupold offered $100 rebate when I purchased. I was looking at this scope for two years and couldn't be happier at that price (would still be happy at full price!)

I purchased the Leupold VX-3L 3.5-10x50mm Duplex CDS rifle scope about 3 months ago and have to say absolutely love it. I did extensive research when I was building my hunting rifle comparing Zeiss, Nikon, and Vortex acopes I finally settled on this great product. The glass is very nice, crystal clear with no distortion and deadly accurate. Easy to dial in only took me a few shots at 50 and 100 yards to get it to where I wanted it. The crescent moon cut out at the bottom of the scope is a great feature and I was able to mount it on my rifle using low rings allowing for a much more comfortable shooting experience. For the extra $50 I went with the CDS system which I would highly recommend Leupold sends you the first turret free which I use for my hunting ammunition. In all very pleased with the scope and if you are in the market for buying one I would highly recommend this product you will not be disappointed. Mine is sitting comfortably on top of my Sako A7 Roughtech Pro .30-06 and cant wait to use it this year in the New York upcoming hunting season.

This is the second Leupold VX-3L that I have purchased. Have both of them mounted on Remington 700 .308s for white-tail hunting in TX and AR. This scope is high value for the price. Very clear glass with great light gathering capability. I use the Custom Dial System (CDS) and have great success.

An extraordinary scope. Definitely well worth the money, the cds dial works just as advertised and helped me make some quick elevation adjustments last deer season.

Just let the customer service rep know you want a one piece rail mounting base and they'll find you the right one for your specific rifle.
Cons: Had to go with a one piece rail base. The two piece rail I originally bought did not leave any room to slide the scope fore/aft to adjust eye relief (Weatherby Vanguard S2).

This scope is incredible for the price! I have a Diavari -Zeiss 3x12x56 and this LEUPOLD VX-3L performs just as well. I will never spend over $750 for a scope again. Buy this scope .....you will not be disappointed.
